New name for Cyber-Squatters: Domain Pirates?

I came across this nice little read about how no one ever imagined that the domains will have great value one day and thus no one cared to look properly at the complex legal aspects involved when the domain name system was initially designed.

 

 When the domain name server system was established it was never envisaged (what carefree days) that domain names would have any value, financial or otherwise. However, the internet became more commercial and its size increased exponentially, and companies began to recognise the value of internet domain names.
