We have a preview for you, Plus, Aftermarket.com has released a sampling of domains that will be up for bid in their live auction at Domain Roundtable next week.
2011 domain sales have a new king of the hill, or should we say queen of the hill? GamesForGirls.com soared to the top of our Year To Date leader board, as well as this week’s all extension Top 20 Sales Chart, after changing hands in a blockbuster deal at Sedo. 4 ccTLDs also made the elite list along with 3 non .com gTLDs.
In another display of curiosity by one of dozens of mainstream media outlets, the Washington Post recently featured an article that begged the question, “Who has the right to own .love?“
Acclaimed info-graphic artist JESS3 was commissioned to design this beautiful illustration of the generic TLDs of tomorrow looming over the historic downtown of current domain spaces.
Take a moment to look closely over all the proposed extensions. There is actually a great selection of Premium TLDs including .RUN, .NEW, .SPACE, .CHURCH, .PAPER, .FUTURE; which I have not seen any group show interest in operating.
